A November update will affect Secapp Android mobile users. If you are using Secapp on an Android device, make sure your device is running at least version 8.

You can check the version of Secapp’s Android mobile application in Settings / About and other settings.

Please forward this information to all Secapp users in your organization.

Updates are an essential part of ensuring security, and they also help prevent potential problems in usage. To ensure data security, we recommend that you keep your operating system up to date at all times and ensure that your device is running a version that supports Secapp.

Secapp is a critical communications and alerting solution. The system is built to broadcast mass notifications, alert individuals and teams, collect critical data and provide secure real-time chats and videos. The security management of Secapp SaaS platform is ISO 27001:2022 certified (Into Certification Oy).

Performance and tracking cookies

Our website uses optional cookies, which are related to website visitor tracking and are used in developing the user experience of the website and monitoring and improving the results of our customer communication.

For this purpose, we use analytics software provided by a third party (Matomo, matomo.org), which sets a tracking cookie on the user's computer. 

If optional cookies are accepted, we additionally use Dealfront web visitors tracking, which adds a visitor cookie on the user’s computer, which sends the full IP address to Dealfront to assist in visitor tracking. This cookie is used to identify organizations visiting our website and is set for the website domain only. Dealfront does not use other 3rd party cookies. 

Tracking cookies help us to track information about visitors, which include the following: 

  • IP address (from which 2 bytes are hidden except for Dealfront as described above)
  • Estimated location based on IP address: country, region, locality, approximate latitude and longitude (geolocation)
  • Estimated visitor organization (as described above)
  • Date and time of request (site visit)
  • Title of the page to be viewed (Page Title)
  • Web address of the page to be viewed (Page URL)
  • The web address of the previously viewed page (Referrer URL)

  • Browser version, browser extensions (PDF, Flash, Java...), operating system version, device ID (User-Agent header)
  • The language of the opened page
  • Campaigns
  • Site search

Information derived from user tracking, based on optional cookies, may be used for personal communication based on other data, such as information produced by advertising management systems about the ads you see and click on, as well as with information collected by our own customer management system about your communication with us, for example using personal links in newsletters. Website visit information is not used on a personal level, but for statistical monitoring, for example to see which pages are visited often, how visitors navigate from one page to another, how often readers of a certain newsletter or advertisement visit the pages, how often visitors return to the pages and from which geographical area the pages are visited.
