What is Secapp?

Secapp is used in public administration organizations (e.g. cities, municipalities, and government agencies), for example, for communicating in crises and unexpected situations, personnel and property safety, and emergency management. In addition, Secapp can be used to alert everyone in the organization with mass messages.

In everyday life and unexpected situations

Predefined message templates are created in Secapp for different types of disruptions and emergency situations. These templates include, for example, the individuals and groups to be alerted, the incident priority, a description of the situation, recommended actions, and any escalation chains. Contact details, qualifications, and alert groups are managed using Secapp.

In the event of a fault or an unexpected situation, you can use Secapp to issue a mass alert using ready-made alert templates. The alert is sent via multiple communication channels (e.g. mobile application, text message, robotic call) to all people defined in the message template, regardless of whether the person has an older phone or a smartphone.

In the case of a high-priority alert, Secapp bypasses the phone’s silent settings on Android and iPhone phones. All recipients of the message can respond to the alert (OK/NOK) and indicate whether they can participate in the situation or not.

Besides permanent personnel, this feature is an excellent way to keep temporary employees informed and to monitor their daily work.

OneClick buttons and the dead man’s switch increase lone worker safety. With the OneClick button, you can send an alert from the screen of your own phone with a single push of a button. The dead man’s switch will automatically send an alert if the device does not detect movement within a specified time (e.g. 1 minute).
